Summoning images from my nightmares.

This sequence is my first attempt at blending multiple AI image generation tools with my go-to Adobe programs. This piece was conceptualized and produced by myself. Footage was realized through MidJourney and Luma AI Dream. Compositing was completed in After Effects before resolution was increased in Topaz.

Concepting

I have always had a soft spot for the tactile work of Kyle Cooper. To meet his level of grit, I chose to rapidly collect grungy found-footage through image generation. Through endless prompting, I then attempted to guide MidJourney into creating impossible juxtapositions within a triptych compositions. The best results came from confusing the tool.

Video Generation

Once I had an album of adequate compositions, I began feeding those images into the Dream Machine to provoke more movement within the broken triptych.

I loaded the video outputs into Adobe After Effects for compositing where I could re-time shots and mash clips together. Once finished, I up-resed the small composites with Topaz.
